About: 

Hydra is a global financial services corporation, offering innovative solutions in personal and corporate banking. I’ve developed a strategy, a brand system and further identity materials to assist Hydra in launching its voice, showcasing the brand's innovative work and reflecting their distinct identity (fictional brand).








Problem: 

The landscape of global financial services corporations is competitive. Hydra sought to strategically and visually set itself apart. A catalyst was needed to establish a distinctive identity that resonates with Hydra's target audience.


Solution:

I have crafted a unique and tailored brand identity that embodies the three key brand attributes of Hydra: flow, balance and innovation. This identity will be consistently communicated, reinforcing Hydra's commitment to smooth financial operations, forward thinking, and a harmonious balance between business objectives and customer satisfaction. 








Brand Story:

Many financial institutions may offer traditional, one-size-fits-all solutions that don't align with the specific goals and aspirations of clients. Clients may feel stuck with their current financial situation, lacking a partner who can inspire and empower them to achieve their financial goals.

With flow, innovation and balance at its core, Hydra creates seamless financial solutions for clients.

The financial industry can often be overwhelming and challenging to navigate. Hydra’s brand voice sets them apart in a sea of competitors, making them a beacon of hope for those who dream beyond the horizon.

Logomark: 

The mark symbolizes flow, innovation and balance through the smooth curves, the illusion of movement and the structural harmony. The rounded rectangles depict payment cards.








Logotype:

Discovering the right logotype that complemented the mark, enhancing its impact, was a challenge. I experimented with various choices, until I settled on Poppins Bold.








Visual Language:

The use of contrasting and vibrant purples emphasizes the innovation aspect and Hydra’s commitment to harmony between business objectives, employee well-being, and customer satisfaction.​​​​​​












I meticulously selected the typeface Inter to represent Hydra.

The modern design aligns with Hydra’s vision to stand out in the financial services landscape. The smooth and balanced letterforms embody seamless flow and commitment to balance. Additionally, the versatility conveys effective communication towards a diverse audience.
